The rules presented in this document apply to all legal entities registered in Romania, which apply for registration as SETRE PROVIDER on the territory of Romania:
1. For registration as a SETRE PROVIDER by a legal person registered in Romania, the applicant shall fill in the application regarding the opening of the account that will be sent to the email address: office@setre.gov.ro;
2. Applications will be processed on a first-come first-served basis;
3. The registration as an SETRE PROVIDER, as well as the updates of the documents, contact details, including e-mail from the provider's account, are made online using the forms available at the address www.setre.gov.ro;
4. After submitting the application, the applicant will automatically receive an e-mail notifying him if his registration request has been accepted or rejected together with the invoice regarding the payment of the account registration, operationalization and administration services;
5. The language used to register as a SETRE PROVIDER is Romanian language or English;
6. Payment will be made within 5 (five) calendar days from the receipt of the invoice;
7. The registration as a SETRE PROVIDER is operated only after the payment has been made. An application for registration as an SETRE PROVIDER may be cancelled due to non-payment without warning;
8. The termination of the registration as a SETRE PROVIDER will be ordered if:
- a) THE SETRE PROVIDER requests its deletion from the National Electronic Register. In this case, the one who registered the domain will send a request according to the deletion procedure described at the www.setre.gov.ro;
- b) THE SETRE PROVIDER has not paid the value of the account registration / update service;
- c) Following a final and irrevocable court decision or a decision from governmental or administrative, national or E.U. organizations with authority in the field of transport;
- d) If the SETRE PROVIDER does not update its supporting documents on the basis of which it was authorised as a SETRE PROVIDER;
- e) If the SETRE PROVIDER does not respond to the notifications sent by ICI Bucharest regarding the fulfilment of the conditions under which it granted the registration according to the Registration Procedure approved by the Common Order no. 378/362/05.04.2022;
- f) The SETRE PROVIDER has transmitted erroneous / false information / data at the time of submission of documents for registration / for the extension of the validity of the registration or has not transmitted the documents in accordance with those indicated in the notifications provided for in Article 6 of the Registration Procedure approved by Common Order no. 378/362/05.04.2022;
- g) The legal entity, registered as an SETRE PROVIDER, ceases its activity.
9. The SETRE PROVIDER that was rejected for the registration/extension of the registration may be re-registered if it meets the conditions set out in Article 6 of the Registration Procedure approved by Common Order no. 378/362/05.04.2022;
10. If the SETRE PROVIDER loses its right to register/extend the registration, the amount paid for its registration will not be returned;
11. The National Electronic Register - SETRE reserves the right to display the information in the database in any electronic format or other form;
12. For any disputes that may arise in relation to the SETRE domains, the SETRE PROVIDER, before the judicial path, shall request a mediation at the Conciliation Body established according to article 11 of the Ordinance 8/2022.
